4 Bb trumpets and 2 percussionists (snare drums and sleigh bells)
post office was composed in Fall 2011, and is scored for four trumpets and two percussionists. The top two trumpet parts are consistently playing the same pitch material, but rhythmically altered very slightly, giving the "solo" part a sense of texture. The bottom two parts fill out the four note sets that occur throughout the piece as they move through the circle of fifths. Meanwhile texture and quietly puts the trumpets in a different atmosphere.
