Note:
This is a solo version of extracted themes from the opera Harvest Music. The violin is tuned scordatura to F#-D-G#-E, and plays various frenetic ideas with quick alternation. The piece keeps various themes from the opera at a distance instead of developing them at length, but can also be performed as part of the opera.
