GOOD NEWS was composed in late 2013 for the Boston Conservatory Composer's Orchestra. The piece is made up of various types of overlapping sounds and gestures that are seemingly "set in motion" and play out according to differing concurrent logic systems. The piece attempts to show an extremely skewed version of composing "processes", by means of first interfering with each process, and furthermore layering more than one process to achieve some conglomerate-type sounds.
